The Oberoi Spa

The Oberoi Spa sits on its own island within the grounds of The Oberoi Marrakech, reached by crossing a reflective lake surrounded by the resort's 11 hectares of centuries-old olive groves and citrus orchards. The building spans 2,000 square metres and is designed around a central maze garden that floods the interior with natural light. Floor-to-ceiling windows in nearly every room open onto views of the water and the surrounding trees, so the boundary between indoor treatment space and landscape dissolves almost entirely. Moroccan hammam sessions follow the traditional sequence of steam, black soap, and exfoliation. The product line is anchored by Alqvimia, a 100% natural Spanish brand rooted in ancient alchemical principles, used across facials, massages, and body wraps. Additional treatments draw on Dead Sea salt wraps, acupuncture based on traditional Chinese medicine, and targeted therapies like the Perfect Feet recovery treatment. SAHA, the resort's tailored wellness programme, offers structured multi-day stays of three to seven nights combining treatments, fitness, nutrition, meditation, and personalised coaching. After treatments, guests are offered herbal water infused with fresh mint and coriander. The spa boutique stocks Alqvimia products and Botanika Marrakech, a locally made line. The setting, isolated on water and wrapped in orchard, makes the transition from treatment room to the outside world unusually gradual, and many guests describe it as the element that elevates the experience beyond the treatments themselves.
