Overview
Epicurien is the late-night restaurant and lounge inside the Casino de Marrakech, at the heart of the Es Saadi Resort in the Hivernage district. The room has a retro glamour that borrows from 1950s cocktail culture: crystal chandeliers, large mirrors, mahogany furniture, and low lighting that keeps the atmosphere somewhere between intimate supper club and full-blown party. A second space opens onto the resort's gardens, where a terrace lined with illuminated palm trees serves tapas and cocktails from a trolley that rolls between tables. The kitchen runs an international menu with French and Mediterranean leanings, and the cooking is indulgent, built for a crowd that has already committed to the evening. The real draw is that it serves until 3am, making Epicurien one of the only addresses in Marrakech where you can sit down to a proper meal deep into the night. The cocktail programme holds its own alongside the food. The evening runs in two acts. The first seating is a quieter dinner service. Later, the resident live band takes the stage, covering soul, funk, and groovy standards with real energy, and the room shifts into something closer to a nightclub, with DJs carrying the set through to closing. Themed nights and costume events appear regularly. Minors are not admitted, dress code is chic, and reservations are strongly recommended, particularly on weekends. The casino and Theatro nightclub are steps away for those with stamina to spare.
